AIMS SOFTWARE AND CBC FACTOR ANNOUNCE INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR CREDIT CHECK APPROVALS

Through a joint development venture, Apparel Information Management System (AIMS) and Continental Business Credit (CBC) are streamlining the factoring process for their top fashion clients. In a globalization era where apparel manufacturers experience increased pressure to deliver faster, better and more compelling product to outpace offshore competitors, this user friendly data integration system may very well give California brands a much-needed advantage.

Designed to shorten the processing cycle for purchase approvals, this system transmits paperwork directly from AIMS to CBC thus eliminating duplication, errors and multiple touch points on retailer orders. Users receive immediate credit decisions while the software keeps track of orders in process. This integrated system is FREE OF CHARGE to all AIMS and CBC customers.

In simple terms, CBC customers linked with AIMS can now click on a menu option which automatically sends all new customer orders to CBC for credit approval. The software keeps track of which orders have been sent and when, so the user doesn't have to. The program receives the credit decisions from CBC and automatically updates the orders in AIMS with the response. All the technical communications take place over the Internet behind the scenes, maximizing efficiency and value for fashion clients.
